
Peter Barlow, M.Sc., P.Eng. (BC, AB), has over thirty years of experience as a specialist in the application of geotechnical engineering to the pipeline industry in Canada and Peru. He has extensive expertise in route selection, Horizontal Directional Drilling, slope stability, geohazards, muskeg terrain, pipeline river crossings, soil-pipe interaction; and, foundation design and site development related to tanks, pump stations and pipeline facilities. Peter has been involved in numerous new pipeline projects from the initial planning stages to construction, as well as risk assessments and geotechnical solutions for existing pipeline systems. His expertise includes slope stability remediation, re-routing, settlement and ground movement mitigation, groundwater issues, erosion repair, reclamation, line exposures, and stress analyses.
