Patrick Grover, Ph.D., P.Eng. (BC, AB, SK, ON), CSPO., has been with BGC since 2015. He recently completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Queen’s University. His Ph.D. specialized in river engineering with a focus on the numerical simulation of fluvial dune morphodynamics using Computational Fluid Dynamics. He has extensive hydraulic modelling experience including dam breach studies, detailed scour assessments and floodplain mapping. Patrick has worked on a variety of studies to support geohazard management for large-scale linear infrastructure (highways, pipelines, railways) for clients in North and South America. Patrick also has extensive software development experience as a developer, architect, and product owner for several software systems related to hydrological analysis, inflow forecasting, real-time debris flood warning and hydro-meteorological monitoring and forecasting.
