Oleg Lurye, B.Sc. CRSP, has over 12 years of experience in health and safety across a broad spectrum of industries, including civil engineering, construction, and environmental management. Having graduated from University of Alberta with a degree in environmental science, Oleg started his career in land surveying before transitioning into health and safety. He has since provided tactical support on a diverse portfolio of high profile projects, including Site C, Syncrude’s Fine Fluid Tailing (FFT) reclamation plant, and Suncor Firebag Stage 3 and 4 expansions. At BGC, Oleg is heavily involved with strategic planning and Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) design and implementation. He is passionate about safety and is always looking for ways to improve existing processes.
