Nate Thompson, M.S., P.E. (CO, WY, UT, TN, KY, GA, AL, MS) is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer based in Nashville, Tennessee. Nate joined BGC in 2023 to establish a Nashville office and support BGC’s eastern US presence. Nate has specialist skills in soil and rock slope stability, mechanical stabilization of slopes, rockfall mitigation, deep foundations, and retaining wall design and construction. He focuses on helping clients develop and implement geohazard mitigation and geotechnical risk management strategies. Nate is excited to bring BGC’s expertise to clients and problems in the eastern US.
