Martin Devonald, M.Sc., LL.B., P.Eng. (BC, AB), has thirty years of international experience in geotechnical and engineering geological projects. He has worked in Canada, UK, Hong Kong, India and South Korea. His work has focused on geohazard assessments, detailed landslide studies including debris mobility modelling, extensive slope stability assessment and geotechnical design for linear infrastructure crossing complex landslide-affected terrain. Martin’s experience includes leading multi-disciplinary teams to complete geotechnical investigations for the development of geological and hydrogeological models for complex sites. He has participated in geotechnical and geological expert witness cases for arbitration and litigation.
