Leanne Johnson, MBA, CPHR is a creative and insightful leader dedicated to making BGC’s goal, values and purpose come to life through our people.

She has progressive executive human resources experience in applied earth sciences, tech, manufacturing, financial services and public sector industries in Canada, the US, France, and Latin America. Her career experience has spanned strategic planning, equity, diversity, and inclusion, change management, continuous improvement, employee engagement, organizational development, leadership development, talent acquisition, talent management, worker’s compensation, health & safety, and total rewards.

Leanne has co-authored 3 articles on Onboarding for the American Society for Training and Development and has spoken at several HR conferences including the Conference Board of Canada and HR West Conference 2014 – The Next Generation of HR. Leanne is an active member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce BIPOC Leadership & Inclusion Council and is also a part of the BC HR community having served on the conference committee and as a mentor. Leanne is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Business Administration. For fun, Leanne enjoys the outdoors taking advantage of all that BC has to offer.
