
Ken Lord, B.Sc., A.Dipl.T.H., has worked in the field of Geomatics since 2003. He has acquired experience with several CAD/GIS software related to problem-solving, modeling, drafting, and designing including AutoCAD Civil3D, ArcGIS, and Global Mapper. He has also worked with Geovia Surpac 3D mine modeling software for modeling geology, landforms, mine workings, dams, and dumps. Most recently his focus has been on developing tools to automate repetitive, slow, or tedious CAD tasks and experimenting with visualizing project data using 3D printing. Ken has a background in geology with 6 years of experience in exploration geology in BC and the Yukon with involvement in grassroots to advanced exploration for gold from surface and underground workings, and in ore control at a small operating mine.
