Jeanine Engelbrecht, Ph.D. has 20 years of experience in remote sensing applications development. She graduated with a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, and a BSc Hons in Geology and an MSc in GIS for analysis and decision making at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. She developed advanced quantitative geospatial analysis skills for geological applications, water resources management, hazard and risk assessment, as well as natural resources and environmental monitoring. Jeanine specialises in InSAR programme design and satellite data processing for geohazard monitoring, working with clients in pipeline, mining, transportation and communities sectors.  She is skilled in the extraction of actionable information, even in remote locations where in-field surveys and instrumentation is limited.
