Erin Olauson, P.Eng. (AB, BC), is a Geotechnical Engineer with more than 20 years of design, construction, and closure experience working mainly with coal and oil sands mining clients. Her focus has been on waste dumps, tailings ponds and dykes and water management structures. Erin has led several of BGC’s oil sands closure projects and has specific project experience in oil sands tailings characterization, and the design and construction of geotechnical caps over soft tailings.
