Diana Cook

Senior Geological Engineer


Dr. Cook, Ph.D., P.E., P.Eng., is a senior geological engineer with approximately 18 years of experience in various civil and mining projects, including bridges, water dams, tailings dams, heap leach pads, and open pit work.  She has worked on projects covering a range of phases, including feasibility and siting studies, environmental impact statements (EIS) and third-party technical reviews, and design and construction.  She has managed and executed geotechnical site investigations and laboratory testing programs, conducted seismic hazard studies, and performed and reviewed stability and seepage analyses.  Dr. Cook has been a technical lead on several multi-discipline teams.  Most recently, she has been working closely with design teams while managing the construction and quality assurance (CQA) programs for various construction projects at a tailings facility in Canada.
