Dawn Paszkowski, M.Sc., P.Geo. (BC, ON) is a Senior Hydrogeologist with 12 years of consulting experience in Canada and the United States, spanning impact assessment and permitting, numerical and analytical groundwater modelling, and design and execution of site investigations. Dawn has experience with the evaluation and management of seepage from tailings dams; with open pit and natural slope depressurization design and stabilization; with environmental site assessment, permitting and compliance monitoring; and with mine site closure. She has been involved in hydrogeological aspects of hard rock gold and copper developments in British Columbia, Northern Ontario, Yukon, and Alaska, as well as in northern Alberta oil sands operating mines, British Columbia coal mines, and linear infrastructure projects in Western Canada. Dawn leads BGC’s Groundwater Team, a diverse group of hydrogeologists, hydrogeological engineers, and geochemists that work across BGC’s business sectors. Dawn is a skilled Project Manager and enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams to find solutions to applied earth sciences challenges.
