Colin Miazga, B.Sc., P.Geo. (AB) has seven years of experience in near-surface geophysics. His project-specific experience includes geophysical investigations for infrastructure feasibility designs, geohazard characterization (e.g. faults and landslides), bedrock surface and shear strength mapping, groundwater resource exploration, archaeological investigations and contaminated site characterization. Colin has extensive experience working on long-field programs in challenging terrain, including at various sites in remote regions of western and northern Canada. He has worked in the United States, Kenya, Uganda, Colombia, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Lithuania and Poland. Colin has volunteered his time and expertise on several grant-funded Geophysics projects. These include two groundwater exploration projects in East Africa and an archaeological investigation of Holocaust mass graves in Eastern Europe.
