Christy Rouault, M.Sc., P.Eng. (AB, BC), has eight years of experience and specializes in cold regions geohazards and permafrost engineering. Her experience spreads across in the communities, mining, transportation, pipeline, and humanitarian aid sectors. She has worked on a variety of projects including large-scale geotechnical earth works design and construction, mine closure, flood and landslide early warning systems, and flood mitigation. Christy has co-led BGC’s philanthropic program, BGC Squared, for over two years, and is committed to increasing underrepresented identities in applied earth science and the integration of local and indigenous knowledge into her projects.
