
Andre Zerwer, Ph.D., P.Eng. (ON), has over 20 years of experience as a geotechnical consultant. He has practised in both mining and civil geotechnical design and construction. He is involved with the design and construction of dam structures for tailings storage and water retention as well as rehabilitation of existing dam structures. He has contributed to various geotechnical aspects of mine closure such as stabilization of spoil stockpiles, stabilization of tailings, and embankment design. He has completed geotechnical projects involving the design and construction of shallow and deep foundation systems for buildings, bridges, and various other types of surface infrastructure. Further, he has undertaken projects in the design, construction, and monitoring of stabilization measures for natural and man-made earth slopes and excavations. He has extensive experience with geotechnical material testing procedures and analyses.
