Alex Graham, B.A., GIS AdvDip., M.Sc., specializes in leveraging lidar and photogrammetry data for terrain and change detection analyses. Following his undergraduate degree and GIS technical diploma, he started as an intern at BGC developing a proof-of-concept for acquiring and analysing near-real-time climate data. He then left to pursue his M.Sc. at the UBC Faculty of Forestry, focusing on deriving terrain models and subsequently comparing forest inventory estimations from lidar and photogrammetry data. More recently, Alex has been with BGC full-time since 2019 where highlights include expanding BGC’s web platform for large-scale lidar change detection and InSAR visualization as well as conducting regular internal photogrammetry training sessions.
