We’re excited to start the new year off with welcoming a few of our new BGC team members. Bringing a wealth of knowledge, these new team members help strengthen the depth and breadth of expertise we offer our clients.
BGC recently welcomed a new senior to our team, Julia Frazier.
Julia Frazier, M.Sc., P.G.
Julia began her Earth science career in California where she completed her education and gained experience with geotechnical, paleontological, slope stability, and seismic hazard studies. She has been working from Colorado since 2006 performing multi-disciplinary geohazard studies and providing geologic consulting during investigation, design, and construction of slope stabilization projects. Julia has been involved previously with BGC’s geohazard identification and mitigation services for the pipeline sector in the eastern United States. Most recently she has gained experience using InSAR technology to address ground displacements along transportation corridors, during tunneling operations, at active subsurface and open pit mine sites, during injection for subsurface carbon storage, and to gain insight into large-scale areas with known regional geohazards. She is excited and looking forward to joining the BGC Team, to be part of the positive change we can see in this world. When not at work, Julia enjoys rockhounding, fossil-finding, and exploring the outdoors with her husband, two children, and two dogs.
We’re also excited to welcome a few other new faces to the team and one familiar face who is returning to BGC to a newly created role on our Software team.
