The Role

BGC is looking for a Payroll and Accounting Coordinator to work with our team in the Golden, CO office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, multinational organization with a fast- paced and dynamic work environment. Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for ~50 US employees
  • 401k bi-weekly and annual reporting
  • Annual Form 720, 1095-B, and 1099 reporting
  • Coordinate with Human Resources to assist with benefits administration and ensuring all taxable benefits are reflected
  • Preparing workers compensation and other payroll statutory filings for all jurisdictions
  • Maintaining and reconciling accounts payables and receivables
  • Billing of small US projects
  • Prepare and enter monthly journal entries, cash receipts, AR and AP to meet accounting deadlines
  • Assist with ad-hoc expense reports for senior staff as needed
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
  • Assist with ad-hoc year-end audit requirements and prepare annual audit working papers and supporting documents

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in full cycle payroll, preferably in a related industry (Engineering or other professional services)
  • Payroll certification or CPP (or working towards)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional communications skills in English, both written and oral
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexible in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to deal with confidential information in a professional and tactful manner
  • Experience in a multinational work environment is an asset
