de l&#8217;\u00c9tat de Washington ont \u00e9t\u00e9 touch\u00e9s par une s\u00e9rie de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/radio\/whatonearth\/what-are-atmospheric-rivers-and-how-are-they-affecting-the-b-c-floods-1.6253763\">rivi\u00e8res atmosph\u00e9riques<\/a> qui ont provoqu\u00e9 des risques g\u00e9ologiques \u00e9tendus et la destruction d&#8217;infrastructures essentielles. Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique a entra\u00een\u00e9 des pr\u00e9cipitations massives qui ont provoqu\u00e9 des inondations, des glissements de terrain et des \u00e9boulements qui ont touch\u00e9 de nombreuses communaut\u00e9s. Les autoroutes, les ol\u00e9oducs, les lignes de transport d&#8217;\u00e9nergie et les chemins de fer ont tous \u00e9t\u00e9 endommag\u00e9s et sont devenus inutilisables &#8211; \u00e0 la date de r\u00e9daction du pr\u00e9sent rapport, certains le sont encore.<\/p>\n<p>Imm\u00e9diatement apr\u00e8s l&#8217;\u00e9v\u00e9nement, BGC a travaill\u00e9 en collaboration avec ses clients pour comprendre les d\u00e9g\u00e2ts et tracer la voie du r\u00e9tablissement. L&#8217;une des nombreuses techniques que nous avons d\u00e9ploy\u00e9es est la d\u00e9tection tridimensionnelle des changements par lidar \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chelle r\u00e9gionale. Le traitement num\u00e9rique peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour identifier et visualiser rapidement les zones de changement topographique lorsque plusieurs jeux de donn\u00e9es lidar sont disponibles pour les m\u00eames zones. Les donn\u00e9es sur les rivi\u00e8res post atmosph\u00e9riques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 compar\u00e9es \u00e0 des ensembles de donn\u00e9es ant\u00e9rieurs provenant de travaux r\u00e9alis\u00e9s pour des clients de la r\u00e9gion. BGC a \u00e9t\u00e9 en mesure de fournir des r\u00e9sultats de d\u00e9tection des changements num\u00e9riques dans les heures qui ont suivi la r\u00e9ception des donn\u00e9es lidar de McElhanney en utilisant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gim-international.com\/content\/article\/predicting-the-future-by-mapping-the-past\">notre m\u00e9thode de traitement brevet\u00e9e<\/a> (le brevet a \u00e9t\u00e9 autoris\u00e9 et est actuellement en cours de d\u00e9livrance). Les r\u00e9sultats ont \u00e9t\u00e9 imm\u00e9diatement mis \u00e0 la disposition de nos clients et de leurs partenaires par l&#8217;interm\u00e9diaire de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bgcengineering.ca\/cambio-landing\/\">Cambio<\/a>, notre plateforme en ligne s\u00e9curis\u00e9e, afin de soutenir les efforts de redressement. Les donn\u00e9es obtenues ont permis d&#8217;identifier les impacts sur les actifs, de hi\u00e9rarchiser les inspections sur le terrain, de d\u00e9velopper de nouvelles conceptions et de comprendre les risques futurs.<\/p>\n<p>Au cours de l&#8217;ann\u00e9e \u00e9coul\u00e9e, nous avons trait\u00e9 plus de 50 000 kilom\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s de donn\u00e9es de d\u00e9tection de changement par lidar, en fournissant \u00e0 nos clients du monde entier des dizaines de milliards de points de d\u00e9tection de changement par lidar dans Cambio.
