class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>BGC a \u00e9t\u00e9 retenu par le minist\u00e8re des Transports et de l&#8217;Infrastructure de la Colombie-Britannique (MOTI) pour fournir des \u00e9tudes g\u00e9otechniques afin d&#8217;am\u00e9liorer un tron\u00e7on de 1,4 km de la route de l&#8217;Alaska 97 \u00e0 South Taylor Hill, sur les pentes de l&#8217;approche sud de la rivi\u00e8re de la Paix, \u00e0 environ 20 km au sud de Fort St. John, en Colombie-Britannique.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet am\u00e9liore l&#8217;autoroute en l&#8217;\u00e9largissant de la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie \u00e0 deux voies existante \u00e0 une g\u00e9om\u00e9trie \u00e0 quatre voies. Ce projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement difficile car l&#8217;autoroute 97 traverse un vaste complexe de glissements de terrain \u00e0 travers (et au-del\u00e0) des limites du projet, avec des mouvements de pente affectant ce segment de l&#8217;autoroute qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit par l&#8217;arm\u00e9e am\u00e9ricaine au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1940.<\/p>\n<p>BGC a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un mod\u00e8le g\u00e9ologique et hydrog\u00e9ologique d\u00e9taill\u00e9 du flanc de la colline qui a facilit\u00e9 les analyses de stabilit\u00e9 des sections g\u00e9ologiques complexes. Des conceptions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es pour stabiliser les pentes avec des surfaces de glissement \u00e0 plusieurs niveaux.<\/p>\n<p>Une approche par \u00e9tapes de la construction a \u00e9t\u00e9 recommand\u00e9e, avec une surveillance quotidienne des instruments g\u00e9otechniques pour d\u00e9tecter une \u00e9ventuelle r\u00e9activation ou acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration des mouvements de pente et des changements dans les pressions de l&#8217;eau interstitielle.<\/p>\n<p>BGC a remport\u00e9 le BC MOTI Deputy Minister&#8217;s Awards dans la cat\u00e9gorie Specialized Engineering Services en 2015 pour sa conception, la supervision de la construction et sa contribution globale \u00e0 ce projet.
