BGC's Kamloops office is seeking an experienced senior geotechnical or geological engineer with a background in mining geotechnical design. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, 10-15 years relevant work experience, the ability to manage multi-disciplined project teams working in remote, challenging environments, and a desire to occasionally travel and work in remote conditions. Candidates shall possess an undergraduate degree in civil, geological or mining engineering. A post-graduate degree in engineering is desirable. A fundamental understanding of geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, rock mechanics and hydrogeology, as well as proven communication skills are essential. Spanish language skills would be an asset. Candidates must be eligible for registration in BC as a Professional Engineer.

Work Locations

Kamloops, British Columbia, with projects situated throughout the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia.
